Summer 2025 Engineering Programs for High School Students

I am excited to announce that TCE will host two in-person summer engineering programs in 2025:
High School Introduction to Engineering Systems for Rising 12th Graders (HITES12): July 13-18, 2025

Engineering Volunteers for Rising 10th Graders (eVOL10): July 20-25, 2025

Each program offers a one-week residential experience designed to introduce rising high school students to the exciting world of engineering. Through hands-on activities and engineering design projects, participants will gain early exposure to scientific study, research, and career opportunities in engineering. These programs are free of major costs to participants.

Application Process

The online application requires the following materials:

Completed application form
Recommendation from a math/science or STEM teacher
Unofficial high school transcript
Video responses

Note: Standardized test scores are not required for the eVOL10 program. HITES12 applicants must have a minimum ACT math score of 25 (SAT math score of 590).

Application Deadline: Monday, March 31, 2025
