High School Introduction to Engineering Systems for Rising 12th Graders (HITES12): July 13-18, 2025

Each program offers a one-week residential experience designed to introduce rising high school students to the exciting world of engineering. Through hands-on activities and engineering design projects, participants will gain early exposure to scientific study, research, and career opportunities in engineering. These programs are free of major costs to participants.

The December 17th basketball game with Cookeville has been moved to the 4th of January and is at Cookeville.

Below is the link for the 2023-24 Family Engagement Survey. Your input is very important to us. We know your time is valuable, so we've made this as easy as possible. This information helps us to plan or revise our Family Engagement Plan and helps us to see where we need to improve, as well as helps us to identify our strengths.

Bring the family to the book fair from 3-6PM, September 25th. Enjoy browsing and buying books while interacting with teachers. All names go into the pot for the big prize at the end of the year. One student will win a gift card for attending.

Pickett Co Health Dept. will be at the high school giving flu shots to students, teachers and staff on the 29th of September. Parents we will be sending permission forms home the week prior for your signature. Students will not be able to take the shot without parent's permission.

Homecoming activities will start at 5:30PM on Friday, 1 Sept.

Good morning! I hope everyone has had a great summer break and welcome back! As part of the requirements for ESSER funding we have to send out a survey twice a year to our stakeholders.
